Highland Dragon brings medieval Scotland to life better than any other work I’ve ever read, employing authentic language, terminology and imagery while maintaining the story flow and not confusing the reader. I must award the author “A+++” on a fantastic job! Ms. Killion
is a talented story-teller. I plan to read any other novels she writes.
Wonderful job for a writer who is definitely a must keep in the business.
Don’t miss out on this must-read, fabulous novel. —Queen

This is
one of those books that you hate to put down, you need to find out what
happens next. I recommend it very highly to historical fans. Hell, even
non-historical readers should give this one a try. —Sandy

[Laird
Calin MacLeod], oh I so adore him, although a brute he is a brute with
a heart, and his soul belongs to Akira as he defends his love and his
clan to find a peace inside his heart from all the vengeance and hatred
that has been living inside him for eighteen years. You want to root
for him throughout every page! They are both cunning and cleaver, fiercely
loyal, insecure with their emotions at times and yet both Calin and
Akira have this magnetic power by the grace of Kimberly Killion's words
to time-warp you back to 1502 and experience their struggle for love
and peace, as well as their grief at times. I was truly enthralled and
taken away! —Book

Calin
and Akira let the sparks fly. There is a tension between the two from
the very beginning. I love how sweet and gentle Calin is with Akira;
and how demanding Akira is of Calin. Akira definitely is a heroine I
won't soon forget. The passion she displays towards everything is something
to be admired. —Heather,

The cast
of secondary characters is second to none. From the despicable, creepy
(really creepy!) Laird Kinnon to the adorable, young Andrew who grabs
at your heartstrings to the older, feisty Aunt Wanda who gives the elders
of the clan a tongue lashing to best friend Kendrick who is begging
for his own story to be told (or at least I’m begging for his
story!). All of these unique individuals add just the right amount of
flavor to this story. —Buffie,
